Just 10–15 minutes from the Resort, the AquaVera water park in Vera Playa is a real oasis of fun for the whole family. Open from 1 May to 30 September (check opening times before you go), it offers more than a dozen attractions: from thrilling slides and wave pools to quiet swimming areas, picnic areas, bars and restaurants. Tickets can be purchased at the Lodge Reception in the Clubhouse, allowing you to skip the queues and get straight into the water. We recommend booking in advance, especially in August.
Just 10–15 minutes from Desert Springs Resort, on the Cuevas del Almanzora reservoir, lies Luna Cable Park, Europe’s longest wakeboarding cable park and a year-round water adventure centre. Just 25 minutes from the Resort, Karting Garrucha boasts an 850-metre track set in spectacular desert surroundings, ideal for a day full of speed and fun.
