Worcestershire County Cricket Club, will all be stepping up their preparations for the 2025 season by returning to Desert Springs Resort to complete warm weather pre-season training at Desert Springs Cricket Ground and Academy in March 2025.
Based at New Road in Worcestershire, Worcestershire CCC will be the first, of two, County Cricket Clubs to visit Desert Springs Resort to prepare for the 2025 season between Friday 7th March and Saturday 15th March 2025. The Worcestershire CCC training camp will comprise twelve (12) players and four (4) coaches, all of whom will be spending their time completing a specific and carefully planned programme of numerous training sessions each day covering technical skills, bowling and batting, strength and conditioning and both individual and group activity.
Worcestershire CCC will use the grass net facilities at the Cricket Academy, while Fielding sessions, strength and conditioning work, running, speed and agility work will be completed at the Cricket Ground and Gym at the Sierras Sports Club.
The players and coaches will be accommodated in some of the privately-owned Apartments and townhouses at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef will be on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining in both El Torrente and the Crocodile Club Restaurant
