We have to inform that Golf Operations Manager, Alfonso Castiñeirawill be leaving Desert Springs on Friday 13th July to take up a new position in Panama, Central America.
Alfonso first joined us in March 2007 as Golf Professional for a period of three years, whereupon after gaining his tour card in 2010, he elected to pursue a playing career on the Alps Tour.
In October 2014, Alfonso returned to Desert Springs to fulfil the role of Golf Operations Manager. Since that time, he has been responsible for providing the smooth & efficient running of the golf course, caddy master, golf academy & practice facilities, golf reception & retail outlets, members relations and ensuring that the highest standards of product and service are provided to Desert Springs owners, members and visitors alike.
We wish to publicly record our thanks to Alfonso for a job well done, his personality and professionalism will be much missed by us all and we wish him well.
