NOTICE OF SCHEDULED ROAD CLOSURE
TO SIERRA DRIVE & LAS SIERRAS
Dear Residents,
Further to our previous announcements regarding the ongoing high-speed train route works and the replacement of the main water supply pipe by Galasa, we would like to provide you with the latest update on the situation.
As communicated previously, Galasa has been working to install a new pipeline to replace the existing one supplying Sierra Drive, Las Sierras, and the Crocodile Club. The new pipeline has now been fully installed, with successful pressure testing completed and the final step—the connection of the main water supply pipe—has been scheduled for Tuesday, 17th December.
Key Details of the Upcoming Works:
- Water Supply: On Tuesday, 17th December, the water supply to the deposit will be temporarily cut off during the connection works. However, the 1,000m³ capacity of the water deposit is expected to be sufficient to maintain an uninterrupted water supply to both Sierra Drive and Las Sierras throughout the day.
Please note that we will monitor the water levels closely to ensure they remain adequate.
Road Closure:
- To facilitate this connection, the road leading to Sierra Drive and Las Sierras will be completely closed from 08:00hrs. for the entire day on Tuesday, 17th December.
- Although we do not have a definitive time for when the road will reopen on Tuesday 17th December, we will provide confirmation as soon as it becomes available.
Actions Required by Residents:
- Parking:
- On Monday, 16th December subject to availability of parking spaces please park your vehicle in the La Fuente or La Rosa parking, or alternatively use the main Golf Club car park, to have access to it during the road closure.
