Hello again Owners Residents and Golfers
Well the weeks and days are whizzing past and my Drive In is getting closer! It’s almost Fiesta and Carnival time at Desert Springs Resort.
Don’t forget that you need to enter your teams, pay the entry fee and choose your courses for dinner.
This applies to team players and any non-golfing guests.
If you want a buggy on the day this needs to be paid for when you enter the competition.
Last day for competition entry forms to be in is Friday 11th April at midday.
If you want to reserve a tee you need to contact Barry White or Dave Hadden and pay on the day or beforehand…. €40 per team.
In order to ensure that the evening goes smoothly we also need your table plans. Jacqui Eldridge is helping me with these so please send her the details of who you have sitting on your table for dinner and their menu choices. Jacqui’s contact details are WhatsApp +34 711 035 705. We can then cross check with El Torrente that all is in order.
On the day breakfast will be served from 07.15hrs. not 07.00hrs.as this will give Jose and the team a bit of extra time to get set up.
Don’t forget to bring plenty of cash in small notes with you as you need to buy your Mulligans over breakfast, and you need to buy your Drive-In flags all €10 each!
There will be a Beat the Pro competition on the 14th hole and an on-course Quiz on the 17th which will require more cash for the entry fees! €5 each for Beat the Pro and €10 for the Team on the 17th for the Quiz.
Karen and Hetty need you to provide food and drink for the Hacienda so that they can keep us all fed and watered, everything welcome; savoury items, cakes, biscuits beers, cava etc. Our Hacienda Chicks need to know what you intend to supply to help them plan accordingly. Please tell Karen well in advance by WhatsApp on +34 636 179 138.
Food items need to be delivered to the Caddy Master building at between 08.00hrs. and 08.30hrs. please on the morning of the event.
I also need raffle prizes for the evening, these can be dropped off at the Clubhouse on the day before or on the day or evening itself. Tickets will be sold to you at your table.
Finally, a date for your diary, on Monday 21st April at 19.30hrs. there will be a General Knowledge Quiz night and Bingo at El Torrente. I need to know team numbers beforehand please, so do let me know by WhatsApp + 34 711 015 396. Entry fee Euros 20 per team. Everyone welcome!
