TITLEIST SHORT GAME EXPERIENCE

The golf ball is the only equipment in your golf bag that you use on each stroke, and as such the importance of your selection of the right ball for your own requirements and ability is vital.
The most popular ball brand on the PGA Tour by far is Titleist, with the Pro V1 and Pro V1x unable to be separated in choice by the professionals.
Fortunately, Titleist has softer balls, balls with a slice-neutralising spin, and balls with different degrees of flight, and by selecting the right ball for you, you will benefit from satisfactory results.
A lot of attention is focused on the golf clubs that PGA Tour players use, and putters and wedges get plenty of scrutiny from the golf-playing public, so they can see what their favourite players are using.
When it comes to the No.1 spot of the most popular wedges played on tour, Titleist are well ahead in this race. In fact, the total number of players using Titleist wedges is more than the other brands and models combined, with 92 players on the PGA Tour using them.
Not surprisingly, the same brand also places well on the short grass. Titleist’s Scotty Cameron putters are very popular with the top players, so it’s no surprise they place as the second most popular putter on the PGA Tour.
In partnership with Titleist, Desert Springs Golf Club has organised a ‘Titleist Short Game Experience’, to be hosted by Titleist representative Alejandro Allepuz at the Desert Springs Golf Academy.
Groups will consist of a maximum of 10 persons ensuring a personalised experience and we have allocated three sessions for the programme as below;
Tuesday 16th January
Morning Session (09:00hrs. – 11:00hrs.):
- 09:00hrs. – 09:30hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Titleist golf balls.
- 09:30hrs. – 10:00hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Scotty Cameron putters.
- 10:00hrs. – 10:30hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Titleist Vokey wedges.
- 10:30hrs. – 11:00hrs. – Q&A Session and further testing of equipment.
Afternoon Session (12:00hrs. – 14:00hrs.):
- 12:00hrs. – 12:30hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Titleist golf balls.
- 12:30hrs. – 13:00hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Scotty Cameron putters.
- 13:00hrs. – 13:30hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Titleist Vokey wedges.
- 13:30hrs. – 14:00hrs. – Q&A Session and further testing of equipment
Evening Session (15:30hrs. – 17:30hrs.):
- 15:30hrs. – 16:00hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Titleist golf balls.
- 16:00hrs. – 16:30hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Scotty Cameron putters.
- 16:30hrs. – 17:00hrs. – Presentation, explanation and test of Titleist Vokey wedges.
- 17:00hrs. – 17:30hrs. – Q&A Session and further testing of equipment
