It gives us great pleasure to announce that Desert Springs has been selected to host two (2) out of the three (3) eventsof the The Senior Golf Circuit that have been aptly entitled the ‘Almeria Swing’ between Monday 7th and Monday 14th December 2015.
The Senior Golf Circuit is for Professional golfers aged 48 years and over who want compete in open golf tournaments and Amateurs aged 40 years and over with a maximum handicap of 9 who want to compete alongside them.
The fields are considered some of the most colourful in golf. Where else might you find a seasoned professional with multiple US PGA Tour victories, a top back surgeon who has turned professional to follow a dream and a Club Committee member in the same three ball, competing against each other?!
The ‘Almeria Swing’ will comprise three (3) events; The Desert Springs Doubles on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th December, The Aguilón Stakes on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th December and lastly, The Seniors Golf Circuit Finale on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th December at Desert Springs.
