The Indiana course at Desert Springs has been recognised as the 14th Best Golf Course in Andalucía out of 101 courses, the 41st Best Golf Course in Spain out of 403 Golf Courses, and the 326th Best Golf Course in Europe out of 7,009 Golf Courses, based on the reviews of players who rated the course on the Leading Courses website.
The Leading Courses rates the Golf Clubs in various countries, including Holland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Cyprus, United Arab Emirates, France, Portugal and Spain, based on opinions and reviews of the golfers who have experienced the courses.
The score to each club is given based on the following criteria: Overall Golf Club Impression, Facilities Available, Maintenance of the Golf Course, Clubhouse Presentation, Value for Money, Hospitality and Service, Course Design, Surroundings and Restaurant, which gives an average score out of 10.
“This was a special experience! The welcome is friendly, and the clubhouse is attractive, and the name does justice to what you get with many different species of cacti and planting, several of which were in bloom.”
“This is a special course in terms of landscape and layout. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens are in good shape and it is striking that the pitch marks have been repaired and the bunkers raked. The Club House deserves an extra mention, beautiful both inside and out, warm and atmospheric which also applies to reception and service. I’d love to come back here.”
“The maintenance and condition of the course was 10. A real discovery!”
These are some of the comments made by reviewers Carthago, Hans van de Nengel and Manuel Salor respectively about Desert Springs Golf Club and its facilities.
Desert Springs Director of Golf Simon Coaker commented;
“Desert Springs Golf Club aims to provide the best possible golfing experience to all golfers, members, guests and visitors alike. Our continual commitment is to do what we can to exceed your expectations, with a truly warm and friendly welcome and an uncompromising level of service.
With the course grass conversion completed, we are confident that we will see the Indiana Course move progressively up the rankings throughout 2022.”
