First impressions – An unusual resort for Spain, in that the villas & apartments are painted in natural earthy colours instead of the generic white, but I think this looks more natural.
The first 2 holes are played along the rear of villas, as are the final 4, whereas the rest of the course is in the ‘desert’.
The holes are forgiving enough for a high handicapper, such as myself; but also provide challenges & rewards for better players (I was playing with a friend who plays off 10). A good selection of distances, various water hazards and some quite unforgiving ‘desert’ rough!
The course (as always) was in excellent condition, well-watered, clean, little pitch mark and divot damage.
The clubhouse is luxurious, e.g. Elemis toiletries in the changing rooms; with a very attractive bar & restaurant area.
It’s worth getting on their mailing list for ‘offer’ green fees, which can provide reasonable savings.
