Helen Lavis, Desert Springs Golf Club Captain, would like to invite all fellow property owners, members and their guests to the inaugural Desert Springs Summer Ball to be held on Saturday 11th August, an exciting and innovative event, which coincides with The Summer Cup Challenge.
The venue is El Torrente and the evening and fun will commence at 20.00 hrs with a champagne reception and canapés followed by a 3-course dinner designed especially for The Ball by executive chef at Desert Springs, Steven Pegg. Wine and coffee are also included in the price.
During the evening you will be entertained by Richard Hill & Co, a Sinatra style singer and five-piece band. There will also be a Flamenco Performance with of course an opportunity for you to try your hand – or feet for yourselves, as you see fit!
There will be a Charity Raffle with some great prizes, with proceeds from the raffle together with a donation from the ticket price going directly to the Captain’s two chosen Charities; the Asociacion Espanola Contra El Cancer and the Asociacion de Minusválidos de Cuevas del Almanzora.
The theme of the Ball is ‘Hollywood in Spain’ so dig out the Fred and Ginger outfits and let’s get this party on the dance floor.
Tickets for the Summer Ball go on sale from Tuesday 19th June and are available from the golf reception at the Clubhouse attractively priced at 65 Euro per person. Tables will be in rounds of 10 people, please indicate when booking if you have a table or would like to join a specific group or have any special dietary requirements. Tickets are on a first come first served basis with a limit of 120 places, so don’t delay!
