MATCH SCHEDULE AT DESERT SPRINGS CRICKET GROUND
As previously announced, Desert Springs Resort, Europe’s only international award-winning luxury family resort with its very own ICC ODI accredited Cricket Ground, located in Almeria, Andalucía, south-east Spain is host to Spain, Norway and Guernsey competing in the ECI Spain T20I Tri-Series between Friday 29th April – Sunday 1st May, 2022.
All three teams will be using this tri-nation event to prepare for the upcoming 2022-23 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup European Qualifier sub-regional tournaments, scheduled to take place in June and July 2022.
All three teams will be eager to make it big on this grand stage and prove their case going into the upcoming ICC tournaments.

ECI Spain T20I Tri-Series 2022 Match Schedule:
Friday 29th April
- Guernsey vs Norway: 15:00hrs.
Saturday 30th April
- Norway vs Spain: 09:00hrs.
- Norway vs Guernsey: 13:00hrs.
- Spain vs Guernsey: 17:00hrs.
Sunday 1st May
- Guernsey vs Spain: 10:30hrs.
- Spain vs Norway: 14:30hrs.
Desert Springs Resort Sales & Marketing Manager, Simon Coaker remarked;
“We are pleased to confirm that spectators are most welcome to attend all matches and admission is FREE, however we must advise that as an official ICC sanctioned event this is strictly on the basis that all spectators follow the clearly defined signage identifying from where they may spectate.
Specifically, no spectators are permitted to enter the cricket ground or the cricket pavilion, which is strictly reserved as a Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA).
If travelling by car, spectators are requested to park their vehicles within the Golf Club car park and take a leisurely stroll down La Fuente which will lead them to the cricket ground spectators’ area.
We are looking forward to some intense battles between these teams and some great entertainment on our superb cricket ground.

Christian Munoz-Mills, Spain captain commented:
“The team is very excited about the Tri-Series between Guernsey and Norway and ourselves. It is our first series of a very important year for cricket in Spain as we look to take the next step into World cricket.”
Josh Butler, the Guernsey captain, said:
“After a long two years the team can’t wait to get away and play international cricket again. We are all very grateful to Spain and Desert Spring’s for getting this tri-series and to Cricket Norway for adding to the competition.”
Norway captain, Raza Iqbal, remarked:
“First of all, I would like to pay my gratitude to the Spanish Cricket board who are providing us with such a productive opportunity for playing such a Tri-series prior to the European qualifiers. Being the captain of the Norwegian team I have the firm belief that my team has a tremendous amount of talent in every dimension of cricket, whether it be in bowling or batting, and our team has huge potential in the fielding section as our team consists of more than sixty percent of youngsters.”
