Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club will host the inaugural ‘Gullivers Sports Travel Seniors Golf Championship’ from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th September 2009.
Gullivers Sports Travel is the UK’s leading and longest established rugby and cricket tour operator. Over the last 24 years, Gullivers Sports Travel has specialised in the organisation of tailor made corporate trips, supporters’ trips, and many others.
The tournament is an individual, as well as a team, stableford points competition, open to all competitors who are over the age of 50 Years. The exact handicap limit for entrants is 24 for men and 36 for ladies.
Players are welcome to enter as a team of four or individually. Players who sign up individually will be paired up to make a full team.
Tournament round one will be held on Monday 14th September with the following day affording a relaxing break with the final competition round taking place on Wednesday 16th September 2009.
Prizes will be awarded to overall first and second place within the Men’s and Ladies section for both individuals and teams.
The entrance fee for this event which includes a Welcome Cava and Canapé reception on Saturday 12th September, the 36-Hole competition at The Indiana Course and the use of the practice facilities before each round is 20€ for members and 110€ for non members.
