The Club has been asked to issue the following announcement by Desert Springs Golf Club Vice-Captain, Philip Lockyer.
Dear Members,
La Herrería Golf Club has contacted the Club to request a change of dates for the Ryder Cup Match between Desert Springs and La Herrería Golf Club to be played at La Herrería scheduled to take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th July 2009.
The new confirmed dates for the 2009 Ryder Cup Match at La Herrería Golf Club are 31st July, 1st and 2nd August 2009.
Accordingly, we wish to take this opportunity to inform our members that the 7th May 2009 is the deadline date for those members who have participated in previous editions of this event to secure a place on the Desert Springs team. After this date, any remaining places available on the team will be allocated to the membership on a first come first served basis.
We are awaiting further details from La Herrería respect to accommodation and an itinerary and will advise the membership accordingly in due course.
