The inaugural Ryder Cup match held at Desert Springs in October 2006 between 12 members of both Redbourne Golf Club in Hertfordshire and Desert Springs, saw an impressive final score line of 14 points to 4 in favor of the Desert Springs team, ensuring that the trophy stayed in Spain!
The return match is scheduled to be held over 2 days, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th October 2007 with 12 players from each club competing in one fourball better-ball round and one singles round, with 1 point for a win, ½ point for a draw and zero for a loss. As in the official Ryder Cup Matches, the scores of each team will be combined to determine the winning team.
