A PHASED RETURN TO PLAY
DAY ONE!
Dear Property Owner and Member,
Further to the announcement of the phased re-opening of the Indiana course at Desert Springs Golf Club to commence today, it was extremely pleasing to welcome thirty-two (32) of our members back to enjoy the course.

The health and safety of our owners, members, staff and visitors is as always, our number one priority.
Our members were greeted at the Club House reception by our wonderful team of Natalia, Gloria and Adria, and on the first tee by Paul acting as official starter for the day!
Whilst all of our team were dressed in accordance with PPE requirements, rest assured, behind the masks there were warm smiles!
All golfers adhered to the ‘Players Golf Protocol’ previously distributed that stipulates the main applicable measures and recommendations for golfers, thus ensuring adherence to social distancing and minimizing the risks of contagion (Covid-19).
BLUE FLAG BUGGY RENTAL
In recognition of the Club’s desire to ensure as much as possible that golfers with physical restrictions have access to the use of the golf course with a golf buggy for their round, it is permitting the rental of ‘Blue Flag Buggies’.
The buggy will be disinfected by Club personnel prior to and post play. The buggy is strictly for the use of one player in accordance with social distancing.
This facility is strictly for those players that provide the Club with a Doctor’s Certificate, who will then thereafter be permitted to use the 90 – Degree Rule.
Payment for the golf buggy must be made at the time of reservation. Please consult the Golf Reception for confirmation of use.
GOLF ACADEMY DRIVING RANGE
We wish to advise that during this initial phase of re-opening that the driving range will remain closed until further notice. Please note that measures have been implemented at the Golf Academy to provide the opportunity for practice to take place utilising the chipping green and the putting greens, whereby the holes have been equipped to prevent the ball from descending completely to the bottom of the cup. The player must collect the ball with the greatest possible prevention of touching the flag pole.
We take this opportunity to remind you that all tee time reservation requests must be made preferably by email to golfreservations@almanzora.com or by calling the Club Reception Monday – Sunday between 09.00hrs. – 11.00hrs. on +34 950 091 518.
