The Almanzora Bay Group, which is building new homes in leisure resort, village and beach locations in the Almeria region of eastern Andalucia, says the move is designed to make the buying experience easier and more enjoyable.

“By supplying fully-furnished ‘ready-to-move-in’ homes, the hassle of choosing, buying and awaiting delivery of furniture has been removed,” says Bridget Rosser, sales and marketing manager of the Cheltenham-based Almanzora Group, the developer’s main European sales agent.

“Furthermore, because the furnishings are included in the purchase price of the property, the total purchase is more affordable. Buyers avoid an immediate and substantial outlay on furniture as the cost of can be included in their mortgage.”

The scheme applies to selected properties being sold by The Almanzora Group. They include apartments, townhouses, cottages and villas at Desert Springs – Europe’s only international award-winning luxury family resort and championship desert golf course – as well as townhouses and apartments at Villaricos, a traditional fishing village located on the coast between the Almanzora River and the Sierra Almagrera.

Also included in the scheme are some of the beach cottages and  individual beach houses at Playa Marques, the Almanzora Bay Group’s beachfront development on El Playazo, the seven kilometre long ‘Great Sandy Beach’ of the Almanzora coast.

Larger properties currently are available with gardens already landscaped and pools installed and ready for immediate use.

The price of a fully-furnished home depends on the size and location of the property. Typically a furnished two-bedroom apartment at Desert Springs currently can be bought for €250,000.
