The Almanzora Bay Group has been presented with three top awards in the most prestigious International Property Awards Competition for 2005 for its Desert Springs Resort and Golf Cub, in southeast Spain
The Almanzora Bay Group was awarded a top award in the Spanish National Category and two awards in the International Category, underlining the world-class credentials and unique qualities of The Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club, new resort in a new region. The awards were:
- Best Almeria Development
- Best Spain Development
- Best International Development Architecture
The awards, sponsored by the Daily Mail, Bentley Automobiles UK and International Homes Magazine, are considered as the “Oscars” of the property world; the pinnacle of achievement for property developers, architects and real estate agencies. The best projects from around the world competed to win these very coveted awards, with entries from over sixteen different countries participating.

The award ceremony was held in the London Marriot, Grosvenor Square, on the 4th of November.
