We announced in an earlier NewsFlash that the Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club had been selected as the host venue for the 2007 Spanish Seniors and Ladies Professionals Championship between October 31st – November 4th, 2007.
To celebrate the hosting of this prestigious tournament, a ‘Pro-Am’ event has been scheduled to take place on the eve of the Championship, Thursday November 1st, affording our members and property owners the opportunity to play with some of the best Senior and Lady Professionals in Spain over 18 holes of tournament golf on the Indiana course.
To give our property owners and members as much notice as possible respect to the ‘Pro-Am’, enabling them to plan their holidays accordingly, the full tournament itinerary and entrance form were distributed by post in April, displayed at the golf reception in the Clubhouse and posted on our official website.
The ‘Pro-Am’ package comprises:
- Tournament entrance
- Complimentary use of all practice facilities
- Tournament Gift Pack
- One competition Round on The Indiana Course
- Buffet Lunch @ El Torrente restaurant after play
- Prize Presentation
Director of Golf, Simon Coaker remarked:-
“Various packages have been designed to cater for everyone. Specifically, the entrance fee for Desert Springs Members, Members Guests and Property Owners who are non-members is €55, €85 and €94 respectively. Entrance forms are now beginning to arrive for the event. In the knowledge that date of the ‘Pro-Am’ is during a popular time for return visits to the resort by our owners and members and so as to avoid any disappointment, we would like to encourage you to send in your entrance form as soon as possible to guarantee your place in the ‘Pro-Am’!’
