Desert Springs is happy to announce that it will host the Play Golf Tournament on the Indiana Course on Saturday 24th June 2006. PLAY GOLF is a magazine published by Call & Play, which distributes the magazine to its 28,000 members, plus affiliated golf clubs, every 3 months.
The tournament, jointly hosted by Desert Springs, Play Golf, Call & Play and GolfSpain, will be an 18-hole Individual Stableford competition. With an expected field of more than 90 golfers, the challenge to become overall tournament champion is sure to be extremely well contested. There will also be Prizes for two handicap categories and for the longest drive and nearest the pin competitions; so everyone has a chance of winning!
After play is completed there will be a cocktail reception in the Indiana Clubhouse, which will be followed by the prize presentation.
Entries for the Play Golf Tournament can be made in the normal way, by completing an entrance form at the Golf Reception desk in the clubhouse or through the GolfSpain website, www.golfspain.com, where a number of different tournament packages are available. With the advertising provided by GolfSpain and Play Golf magazine, virtually every golfer in Spain will receive information on this tournament, so entry spots may be expected to fill quickly.
