The Club Captain, Past Captain’s and Club Officers are pleased to announce the introduction of a new competition; ‘The Past Captain’s Team Challenge’ scheduled to be played on The Indiana Course at Desert Springs on the 20th October 2009.
This event will be a Team competition. Each team will be captained by either a past or the present Captain of the Club.
Teams will be drawn at random and the winning team will receive the new Captain’s Team Trophy which is being presented to the Club by the past Club Captain’s and the present Club Captain.
Members and guests wishing to play in the competition are asked to enter their names by midday 19th October. The price for entries is 24€ for Members and 64€ for Guests, that will include a personal donation of 10€ for the Captain’s Charities and a Menu del Día Lunch at El Torrente restaurant after play, consisting of starter, main course, dessert and coffee.
The new trophy will be presented to the winning team at the lunch.
The draw will take place at 13:00 hrs on the 19th October and teams with starting times will be published in the Golf Reception in the normal manner.
