Members of Desert Springs Golf Club are invited to enter a team in the ‘Inaugural Desert Springs Inter – Club Trophy’, to be contested for on the Indiana course on Saturday 28th June 2008.
The event has been limited to 15 clubs on the Costa Blanca and Costa Càlida and is by invitation only.
Teams of 8 players from each Golf Club will compete in a Pairs Better Ball Stableford tournament, with the 4 best scores recorded on each hole being combined to count towards the team total for 18 holes.
The competition is open to male and female golfers, with a current handicap, who wish to represent their respective golf clubs in this team event.
The entry fee for the event to Desert Springs Members is 18€ per person, which includes the use of practice balls at the Academy of Golf prior to play, a post event buffet to be held at the Clubhouse with refreshments and the prize presentation.
As each Golf Clubs’ team is limited to 8 players, members who are interested in representing Desert Springs and playing in the event should contact the Desert Springs Golf Club Secretary, Lina Rodriquez as soon as possible. Lina will inform the Club Captain, Martin Symington accordingly. Entries will be based on a first come first served basis so don’t delay if you wish to represent Desert Springs Golf Club!
Members who have represented Desert Springs Golf Club in previous events have set an extremely high standard and Desert Springs teams have become accustomed to winning; we sincerely hope that this event will be no different!
It would be wonderful to have Desert Springs name etched on the trophy!
