On the occasion of the final of The Bader Ladies Salver Tournament
Once again Desert Springs has provided a magnificent venue for the final of The Bader Ladies Salver Tournament.
Sadly the passage of time has made it impossible for me to attend in person but I have heard from John Southwick our Tournament Director that 2009 was as good if not better than 2008! I am advised that the facilities, accommodation and condition of the course are second to none and I believe too that the attention of the staff was first class and that, in particular, Chris Langford, who was very much involved with the organisation, was outstanding.
You are no doubt aware that 2010 marks the centenary of my late husbands’ birth. In celebration the Foundation will in February be launching a brand new project, Bader Braves, which is a challenge/support programme for disabled children and their families and it is towards this project that the funds raised through the golf tournament will be applied. In no small way has the contribution of Desert Springs towards the success of the Ladies Salver played its part and we are, as ever, indebted to you and your fantastic team for making it possible.
With my very best regards and sincerest gratitude,
Yours sincerely,
Lady Bader OBE., President
