The Hampstead Cricket Club U’13 team will be completing a four (4) day training camp at the Desert Springs ICC accredited Cricket Ground & Academy between Monday 14th – Friday 18th February.
Hampstead CC is one of the largest and most successful teams in London, running 6 (six) men’s teams at the top level of Middlesex club cricket, 2 (two) successful women’s teams, a MDL team and a large junior section of boys and girls.
The visiting group will comprise ten (11) players and three (3) staff, all of whom will be spending their time completing a specific and carefully planned programme of numerous training sessions each day covering technical skills, fielding drills, bowling and batting, strength and conditioning and both individual and group activity.
Grass net practice, both bowling and batting will take place at the Cricket Academy. Strength and conditioning, running, speed and agility work and match simulations will be completed at the Cricket Ground and Gym at the Sierras Sports Club.
The players and coaches will be accommodated in some of the privately-owned Apartments at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef will be on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining in El Torrente restaurant.
