We are delighted to announce that Haileybury School will be visiting Desert Springs Resort between Thursday 20th – Monday 25th March to complete a 5-day cricket tour to prepare for the season ahead, at the ICC accredited Desert Springs Cricket Ground & Academy.
As a focus sport at Haileybury for both Boys and Girls, the cricket club field in excess of forty (40) playing XI’s through-out the Summer Term were participation is coupled with performance with numerous players currently representing Middlesex, Essex, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. Fifteen (15) U14 female players and two (2) teaching staff will be involved in a mixture of high performance training, spending their time completing a specific and carefully planned programme of numerous training sessions each day covering technical skills, bowling and batting, strength and conditioning and both individual and group activity.
The players and coaches will be accommodated in some of the privately-owned Apartments at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef will be on hand to cater for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining in The Crocodile Club restaurant.
