Academy Membership
Membership to The Desert Springs Golf Academy is now available for those who are not members of the Golf Club. There is no joining fee and benefits include 15% discount off individual lessons with Neil Evans & 15% discount off academy range balls. More details are available from Golf Reception.
New Year Special Offer
For those amongst you who have a New Year’s resolution to improve your golf, Desert Springs Academy Teaching Professional Neil Evans has devised a special assessment and lesson package available from 1st January – 31st March. Neil will take you onto the course for a one hour game assessment, prepare for you a written report of his findings and recommendations that will then be followed with 3 one hour lessons that would have been specifically designed to suit your exact requirements. Cost: Members €135, Academy Members €153 and Guests €180.
Christmas Lesson Vouchers
All Academy lesson packages are available as vouchers for Christmas presents. Please contact the Golf Reception for more details.
Coffee Mornings
This year has seen the Coffee Mornings grow in popularity. To ensure that the Academy Teaching staff can maintain coaching standards, we have set a limit on the numbers attending each ‘Coffee Morning’ session to 8 people, however so as to avoid disappointment and to cater for everyone we have added an additional one hour coaching session for each ‘Coffee Morning’. The ladies Coffee Mornings are now from 09.00hrs-10.00hrs & 10.00hrs-11.00hrs each Thursday and Men’s from 09.00hrs-10.00hrs & 10.00hrs- 11.00hrs each Friday.
We had recently introduced a ‘Mixed Coffee Morning’ which is held each Saturday from 09.00hrs-10.00hrs. These sessions have proven to be very popular, so reservation of your place in advance is advised.
Desert Springs Academy Courses
We have designed these courses to suit golfers of all levels of both ability and experience. Each course can be for between 1-4 people and comprises a combination of lessons at The Golf Academy and on course playing lessons.
Video Analysis & Planeswing
Video analysis is available for every lesson using either The GASP video or V1 coaching software.
Neil Evans is also delighted to announce the arrival of the state of the art Plane Swing Training Aid at the Academy at Desert Springs. Plane Swing is designed to help golfers find their ideal golf swing plane.
