It is with pleasure that we announce that José Ignacio Olea, PGA Professional at the Desert Springs Golf Academy, has now assumed the responsibility of both the organisation and running of the ‘Golf 4 Women’ programme of events and tuition at Desert Springs Golf Club. The 2011 ‘Golf 4 Women’ Calendar of Events has been carefully designed to maintain those Tournaments which have proven to have been successful in past years, whilst also seeing the introduction of some new events with entertaining formats. Whilst attendance to these events is usually restricted to female golfers, in the true spirit of equality, male partners are also welcome to participate in selected events!

“I´m thrilled to be fully involved in the ‘Golf 4 Women’ programme. The whole approach to this section is relaxed and although the emphasis is on learning, fun is also high on the agenda! With a variety of formats spread across the year, we hope we have designed a calendar of events to please everyone. There are also high expectations on the tuition-related programmes and I am looking forward to assisting you in lowering your scores!”

A full range of tuition programmes has been organised for the year to help you lower those scores, ranging from the popular Coffee Mornings to the detailed Academy Masterclass, all you need do is select the programme which better suits your needs. Simply go along to the Golf Reception in the Clubhouse to discuss your requirements personally with Nacho.
