The Golf 4 Women Winter Golf Festival is an annual event which has taken place since 2008 and has provided lady golfers with the opportunity to play in an exclusive, fun and social event at Desert Springs in November, when the weather is still great while the rain and cold is already present in the rest of Europe!
This year’s Golf 4 Women Winter Festival will take place from Saturday 21st November until Sunday 28th November and to date we have received 6 team entries. The tournament involves playing a different format of play each day, Texas Scramble, Greensomes, Fourball, Bowmaker Team and Individual Stableford, with the winning team decided on the accumulative score at the end of the week. Some days will be played in your team of 4 and others in 2 teams of 2 making the event a typically social Desert Springs experience. The public price for the event is 514€ or £412 to include 7 nights Resort Lodge accommodation, 5 rounds of golf, breakfast in the clubhouse each morning, welcome party, prize giving dinner and some great prizes. The members price is only 82€ or £66 and includes the welcome cocktail, the tournament rounds, the use of range balls before the competition, a golf clinic by Desert Springs Golf Professional Alfonso Castiñeira, and attendance to the prize presentation dinner.
For those members who wish to bring their guests, staying with them, the package will cost 268€ or £215, excluding the accommodation and the breakfast each day.
The tournament will also have some aside fun competitions, so be prepared for anything that may come up!
