2021 EUROPEAN TOUR QUALIFYING SCHOOL CANCELLED
The European Tour Qualifying School has been providing players from all over the world with a platform to make it to the European Tour since its inception in 1976.
Unfortunately, due to ongoing logistical consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the demands of hosting multiple events in different countries over a short space of time, the Qualifying School did not take place in 2020 and the European Tour have now announced that it will not take place in 2021 either.
Desert Springs Resort was scheduled to host the European Tour Qualifying School Second Stage between Thursday 4th – Sunday 7th November 2021 which is now cancelled, and we shall advise on the new dates to be scheduled for 2022 in due time.
Desert Springs Director of Golf, Simon Coaker remarked: –
“Whilst obviously this announcement is a great disappointment to all involved, in particular those players seeking to qualify for membership of the European Tour, the circumstances that have led to this decision being made are fully understandable. We look forward to rescheduling the dates for 2022.”
