It is the time of the year when the Annual subscription fees for 2015 Club Membership need to be determined. Your membership renewal and the attraction of new members remain as important as ever to the future of the Club.
In 2013 the Club improved existing benefits and introduced new ones for its Members, which were warmly welcomed.
The Club would like to inform you of the following with regard to 2015.
Resort Resident & Resort Non-Resident Members
- The Club will be increasing its Resort Resident & Resort Non-Resident Member annual subscription fees by 1.5% in line with the rate of IPC
- The 25% discount for the Resort Resident & Resort Non-Resident Member annual subscription fee for all ‘Partner’ Members will remain
- All Resort Resident & Resort Non-Resident members are entitled to play Unlimited rounds of golf

Resort Resident Members receive the same benefits of membership as above. However, they also receive the offer of the complimentary use of the following: a golf buggy for all rounds, range balls at any time and use of the Trolley store facility at the Caddy Master Office.
An additional objective of the Club during 2013 was to increase its green fee revenue, providing always that this did not undermine the fundamental principles of the mission statement or long-term structure of the Resort and Club.
The introduction in 2013 of the Annual Membership offer was welcomed by golfers from the surrounding area and has resulted in attracting 100 new Members to date, thus strengthening Club Membership as a whole. It has also been encouraging to see the resulting increase in the number of Members participating in Club Tournaments and an increasing number of new Member’s Guests being introduced to Desert Springs Golf Club.
Annual Members
- The Club will be increasing its Annual Member annual golf fees by €100 and a further 1.5% in line with the rate of IPC
- The Club will be charging to the Annual member annual subscription fee a €200* Food & Beverage Credit
- The 25% discount for the annual golf fee for all ‘Partner’ Members will remain
- All Members are entitled to play Unlimited rounds of golf.

*New for 2015: Charged within the Annual Adult (and Partner) Member subscription fee is a €200 Food and Beverage Credit that will be assigned to the Annual Members membership card which can be used at all restaurants within the Resort. Upon production of the Annual Members membership card, all expenditure against the credit will benefit from a 5% discount. The Credit can also be assigned to Social events within the Desert Springs Golf Club Tournament Calendar such as The Captain’s Charity Day and The Club Championship.
