The Club 8 A-side (21st – 24th September 2023) and Winter Club 8 A-side (24th – 27th November) proved to be great successes with four (4) teams enjoying friendly, but competitive matches.
The two 8 A-side events saw Teams from all over the UK and Granada CC compete in the shortest and most exhilarating format of the game, T10.
Rams Subramaniam, Captain of CSK Bristol commented;
“10 out of 10, the pitch was top class, we had a great experience at the cricket ground.” He continued “The food was delicious and the service fab” when asked about El Torrente.
Akshay Dhanda of the Kingfisher Dynamites commented;
“Great facilities, amazing ground. Food was great and we all had an amazing time. Memories for life.”
The players were accommodated in some of the privately-owned Apartments at Desert Springs and the resort’s executive chef catered for the special dietary requirements of individual players dining in El Torrente restaurant.
