We wish to inform you that, David Fernandes has been appointed Golf Operations & Sales Manager at Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club to commence Monday 20th March.
David, a Portuguese National who is fluent in both English and Spanish joins Desert Springs from Barceló Montecastillo Golf & Sport Resort, Cadiz, Spain, where he held the position of Golf Operations Manager, playing a pivotal role in the development of golf course service, achieving the Best Golf Operations Team Award from 59 Club Benchmarking for two consecutive years.
David holds a Club Manager Diploma -CMDIP through the Club Managers Association of Europe.
At Desert Springs David will be responsible for continuing to provide the smooth & efficient running of the golf course, caddy master, golf academy & practice facilities, golf reception & retail outlets, members relations and ensuring that the highest standards of product and service are provided to Desert Springs owners, members and visitors alike.
In addition, David will be working alongside the Club’s management to further develop and strengthen its growing golf business.
David’s office is located at the Club House and we are confident that you will join us in wishing him the best in his new role at Desert Springs.
