We are sorry to have to inform you that Christine Langford has reluctantly concluded that she must give up her role as Desert Spring’s Ladies Golf Ambassador and Director of the Academy of Golf, as of Tuesday 30th November, in order to take up the “not to be refused” opportunity of the position of Director of Golf in Cambridgeshire in the UK.
With over 30 years experience in the world of professional golf, since joining us Christine has used her considerable expertise to offer a unique range of events and holidays for our lady guests, visitors and owners.
The Golf 4 Women series of packaged holidays and events had been specially designed by Christine with the Monthly Mentor proving to have been extremely popular.
Christine has confirmed that she will be both organising as well as hosting The ‘Golf 4 All Pro-Am’, an event that has become a fixture in the golfing calendar for many Members. This event is scheduled for Sunday 2nd – Tuesday 4th January 2011.
Although Christine will be based in the UK, she has confirmed that she also intends to maintain a programme of golf holiday / tuition offers at Desert Springs.
We wish to publicly record our thanks to Christine for a job well done, her personality and professionalism will be much missed by us all and we wish her well in her new role in the UK.
