Dear Member / Property Owner,
As they say, all good things must come to an end!
As of April 1st I have officially entered into retirement (not for the first time I might add!) and handed over the mantle of Desert Springs Club Captain to Barry Carver, to whom I wish the best for his year and am confident you will provide your support.
I sincerely thank you all for your confidence, trust and support afforded to both myself and your elected Club Officers throughout the year.
Over the last year the Club Officers, myself and the management of the Club have worked closely with one another in a positive and pro-active manner, which has resulted in enjoyment for all at Desert Springs.
The Resort continues to develop and flourish and it has been pleasing to see that even in the economic climate with which we all find ourselves, that so many of you have continued to return and support the numerous competitions we have scheduled within the golfing calendar.
With the support of you all we have managed to raise a total of 4.283,38€ of which 2.000€ will be donated to Leukaemia Research and 2.283,38€ donated to the Asociación de Minusvalidos de Cuevas del Almanzora.
Lastly, I wish to take this opportunity to publicly thank the Club’s Management for their continued support and efforts to provide our members and home owners with what I am sure you will agree is a wonderful venue.
