The Golfers’ Choice Rankings are an overview of the best golf courses in Europe and beyond. The rankings are decided by reviews given by the Leading Courses community who have experienced the courses themselves, which make them the most transparent golf course rankings in the world of golf.
The score to each club is given based on the following criteria: Overall Golf Club Impression, Facilities Available, Restaurant Quality, Maintenance of the Golf Course, Clubhouse Presentation, Value for Money and Hospitality and Service, which gives an average score out of 10.
At the beginning of the year, the Indiana course at Desert Springs had been recognised as the 8th Best Golf Course in Andalucía out of a total of 103 courses and the 21st Best Golf Course in Spain from a total of 407 and was ranked as 178th out of 7,000 in Europe, based on the reviews of players who rated the course on the Leading Courses website, and was awarded the prestigious “2024 Golfers Choice Outstanding” badge.
Hole 1 ‘Cactus Point’ – The Indiana course at Desert Springs
Since then, based on ongoing player reviews throughout the year, the Indiana course has made significant progress. It has now climbed 6 places, ranking as the 15th Best Golf Course in Spain and even more impressively, it has surged 93 places to rank 85th out of 7,000 courses in Europe.
