We cordially invite you you to join us for a wine tasting event to be held on the Tinaja Terrace at El Torrente restaurant on Saturday 28th January, commencing at 17.00hrs.
We have selected three exquisite wines from Bodega Sierra Almagrera for you to sample;
- Sierra Almagrera – Crianza red wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels – Tempranillo Shiraz, Grenache & Monastrell grape variety
- Caballo Español – Red wine aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (80%) and American oak barrels (20%) – Tempranillo, Shiraz, Grenache & Monastrell grape variety
- Caballo Español Oro – Red wine aged for 25 months in French oak barrels, Shiraz & Tempranillo grape variety
Located within the east of the Almería province, in the foothills of the Sierra de Almagrera, in the valley of Cuevas del Almanzora, the terrain is situated at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, where the cool breezes from the mountains on the shores of the Mediterranean prevail. The soil is that of reddish clay loam, formed from the decomposition of rocks and minerals from the high peaks that housed the old silver and iron mines.
The silver roots of the vine feed the leaves and bunches of the Tempranillo, Shiraz, Garnacha and Monastrell varieties.
Attendance to the event is €15 per person with cheese and biscuits provided to perfectly complement the tasting.
