SYNCHRONISATION OF HANDICAPS
Dear Member,
To date almost 50 members have synchronised their RFEG handicap with their handicap outside of Spain.
However, some members have not begun this process.
To ensure that we have a level playing field for all members at Desert Springs, the Committee has decided to set a final date – 30th May 2024 – for initial synchronisation to be done.
From 1st June, the date of the Directors’ Trophy, any member without a synchronised handicap will be treated as a ‘Guest’ until synchronisation has been completed.
If you have not done so already, you should start the synchronisation process by letting John Booth; jbooth6970@googlemail.com or Jacqui Eldridge; jacquie.eldridge@googlemail.com have details of your handicap record at your golf club outside Spain, by providing an official Handicap Certificate with full score record, which can be requested from your golf club.
If you are a Federated member of Desert Springs, and do not hold a handicap at another club outside Spain, please confirm with John Booth or Jacqui Eldridge that this is the case.
