A Message from the Club Captain
Dear Member, Owner
I’m not sure where the past year has gone. I would just like to say that it has been an absolute honour and a privilege to have been Captain of Desert Springs Golf Club and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is now less than two weeks until I hand over to Chris and I’m sure you will all join me in wishing Chris a very successful year as Captain.
Club Championship
This year the Club Championships are being held over Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April, and the Club Championship Stableford competition is on Sunday 7th April.
The gala dinner will be held on Sunday 7th April in El Torrente restaurant and the prize presentation will take place after the dinner.
At the start of the evening, we will present the cheque to representatives from Asprodalba. As you know, we have been raising money for Asprodalba throughout the year and I am delighted and very overwhelmed to tell you that we have raised the most amazing total of €19,746.97. You are all so generous, this money will mean so much to the Charity. Thank you all so much.
Everyone is welcome to come to the dinner and to the evening fun and the rough timings are:-
- 18:45 hrs. onwards – Meet for drinks at El Torrente
- 19:15 hrs. – Presentation of the cheque to Asprodalba
- 19:30 hrs. – Gala dinner
- 21:15 hrs. (approx.) Prize presentation, followed by presentation of Captain’s jacket and a few words.
- 21:30 hrs – Skyfall band and dancing
It would be lovely to see you all there. Please book via reception and choose your meal options.
Please could you also let me know who you would like to sit with for the dinner and I will arrange the table plan.
Finally
Thank you to every member of the Committee for your support over this past year. You have all done an amazing job and it has been a pleasure to work with you all. Thank you also to every single person who has helped me during the past year. So many people have done so much to help me, and I am very grateful to you all.
