“Dear Fellow Members & Property Owners,
I wish to advise you of a change of dates for the ‘All Saints Day Stableford’ and ‘Captain’s Charity Day’ within the 2008 Desert Springs Golf Club Tournament Calendar.
The ‘Captain’s Charity Day’, scheduled for Saturday 25th October will now take place on Sunday 2nd November.
The All Saints Day Stableford, scheduled for Sunday 2nd November will now take place on Saturday 25th October.
This decision was taken in full consultation and with the full agreement of the Club Committee.
As you will be aware, the ‘Sir Ian Botham Charity Golf Classic Grand Final’ is scheduled to take place at Desert Springs from Thursday 30th October through to Saturday 1st November 2008.
We anticipate that a large number of members, owners and their guests will be at the resort during this period, and as such, we believe that rescheduling the ‘Captains Charity Day’ to take place the day after this event will result in the optimal number of tournament entries and support for the day.
