The Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club is offering you the opportunity to play golf with the stars from the Ladies European Tour. From 7th – 10th January 2007, 16 professionals from the tour will each compete with a team of three amateurs on the Indiana golf course, Europe’s only desert course, in the inaugural:
Desert Springs‘Golf 4 All Pro-Am’.
The event is open to both male and female amateurs, members and non-members of Desert Springs and you can enter either individually or in teams of three. Each team will then be paired with one of the lady professionals to play 36 holes of tournament golf over the Indiana Course. But that’s not all…
The package also includes a practice round, tournament gift pack, team photograph, welcome cocktail in the clubhouse and ‘Meet The Pro’s’ evening, with dinner at the Crocodile Club on the eve of the tournament. On both tournament days, practice balls at the Desert Springs Academy of Golf and golf buggies will be provided to ensure neither your swing nor stamina dwindles. Round One will be in a Texas Scramble format, with 4 drives from each player counting. The day’s play will be followed by dinner and entertainment in the Crocodile Club. Round 2 will be played as a 4-ball Stableford with the best two nett scores counting. The tournament will be concluded by a gala dinner and prize presentation at El Torrente Restaurant in the clubhouse.
