DESERT SPRINGS RESORT
15-DAY CLOSURE
Dear Owner, Member & Guest,
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has announced a declaration of a two-week “State of Alert” commencing on Saturday 14th March with national, regional, provincial and local measures introduced throughout Spain to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, including the closure of bars, restaurants, shops and all forms of recreational activities.
In response to this, we advise that Desert Springs Resort will be closed from midnight today, Saturday 14th March for a period of 15-days, scheduled to re-open on Monday 30th March 2020.
Peter Goodhall, Managing Director, stated;
“This is a unique, ever changing and complex situation. The health and safety of our owners, members, staff and visitors is our number one priority, and we would like to thank them all in advance for their understanding.
The situation within Spain will surely develop further in the coming days and all signs are pointing towards a “lock-down” similar to that which Italy is currently experiencing. We will continue to keep you appraised of developments which may affect the reopening date of 30th March.
We very much look forward to reopening and welcoming all back to the Resort once the events we are all experiencing are behind us.”
